1. It is important to consistently work on your senior project, whether it is break or we are in school. What did you do over the break with your senior project?
During my break, my mentor and I went over fashion sketches and the types of drawing for the fashion design. We covered the difference between an illustration and a sketch. I also worked on a mens jacket for the wintertime with the use of symbolism in a design.

The most important thing I learned about this month with my project was to tell the difference between drawing an illustration for a fashion final and a sketch for an idea. This skill is important because when it comes to ideas, you want to be as direct as possible.

I would interview my mentor's husband about illustration. Ted Bootanthanakit is a fantastic illustrator for video game, and storyboarding companies. This skill is incredibly useful in fashion and I would like to learn more.
